The proceeds obtained through the sale of these pieces, provide much-needed support for charities caring for underprivileged children in South Africa - particularly those left orphaned as a result of HIV/Aids.

Light from Africa Foundation (LFA) is an internationally recognised non-profit organisation based in the awe-inspiring Constantia Hills, Cape Town.

The Foundation raises funds for the building of children’s centres for HIV/AIDS infected children through the sales of unique, hand crafted ceramic artworks.

These are created by artists from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, who have been given advance ceramic skills training at the LFA studio.

The ceramic collectables are world class in their design, manufacture and finishing. Each unique piece from sculpture to bowls; vases and dinnerware are coded and can generally be used as a candleholder providing light, warmth and a flame of hope to the owner… and a suffering child.
