Simon McCullagh Architects

Simon McCullagh completed his degree at UCT in 1995 and is a registered architect with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession. The practice has completed a number of signature homes in the Constantia valley region in the last ten years and has also worked on a number of rural farm projects both in the Cape and further afield. We specialise in restoration work with two most recent projects being the refurbishment and extension of the Silverhurst Estate’s original Manor House in Constantia and the restoration and conversion of five original Karoo farmsteads forming a new game reserve near Graaff Rienett. We are one of four architects appointed to design new houses at the award winning Lake Michelle eco-estate development in Noordhoek and have completed a number of community projects in and around Cape Town.

Based in Cape Town, we undertake work throughout South Africa. We offer a competitive fee structure and pride ourselves on our communication and service standards and ability to work to budget and time constraints. We work with an excellent team of professional building consultants and contractors to provide our clients with as pleasant a building experience as possible. We have extensive experience in dealing with foreign clients building in South Africa and with twelve years in the industry are quietly confident in our ability to exceed your design and building expectations.
