A New Look for Catharina's

Catharina’s the Restaurant at Steenberg is getting an absolutely fabulous new look. You can look forward to an ultra special launch in the late spring. The alterations are set to start on Monday 23rd June. The restaurant will be closed for a time.

In the meantime The Cape Colonial Suite will be used as a temporary and unique dining area. This is one of the very special new Heritage Suites at Steenberg.

The menu will be simplified somewhat but you can expect the same high standard of five star cuisine. The great service goes without saying …

It will be a once in a lifetime experience to dine in this very special eating place.

The menus on offer will be the Fine Dining Tasting Menus as follows:

Lunch • Tasting menu at R95 – a two course menu including a glass of wine • Dish of The Day • Fine Dining Carvery of the Day

Dinner • Tasting menu at R165 – a three course menu including a glass of wine. • Three different three course menu choices at R195 - Vegetarian - Meat - Fish

The Menus will change weekly

In addition there will be a Table d’hote or Chef’s Table for parties of up to 10 guests (the Chef will be cooking at your table especially for you).

It will be exclusive and an experience that is inimitable.

Please note that Catharina’s will not be hosting the Sunday Buffet Jazz Luncheons until further notice.
