Klein Constantia Vin de Constance 2006 receives 95 point rating in Wine Spectator
Published: 31 May 2012
James Molesworth released his South African report in the May edition of Wine Spectator magazine entitled, Hidden Gems. The report discusses the rich array of South African wines awaiting discovery.
Topping his list of wine recommendations is Klein Constantia Vin de Constance 2006, one of only five South African wines ever to earn a classic Wine Spectator 95 point rating and the first non-red to achieve this.
Molesworth describes the wine as, “a dessert wine made from Muscat de Frontignan that has quietly established a superb track record over the past decade...gorgeous tangerine and clementine fruit flavors laced with date and green tea notes.”
