Boer 'n Brit

The Boer ‘n Brit pub in the Jonkershuis tells the story of family conflict during the Boer War, when Deliana spied on her pro British husband, Henry and his frequent guests, the Lords Roberts and Kitchener and sent the information to her Boer family in the north. Popular with guests and locals, the pub offers lunches and suppers all year round either on a shady terrace under the oak trees or indoors during the colder weather next to a cosy log fire.
